DIRT THERAPY TRAIL UPDATE – DECEMBER 2024

December was another great month for us on the UHP campus. We have kept our focus on the Black Line off the Flagpole Hub. This line is unlike anything you will ride in Northwest Arkansas. Our Master Trail Builder, Robbie Wells has only just given us a teaser of what the rest of our trail network will look like.  

As of December 2024, we have 2+ miles of trail completed, including a full multi-use Green Loop. From the Flagpole Hub, our Black Line is now finished and we have the beginnings of a super flowy Green Flow Trail. We are moving to finish the Green Flow Trail and Blue Flow Trail from the same hub. Anticipated completion end of Q1, 2025. 

Flagpole (Black):

Completed in December of this year, our (yet to be named, *hint hint) Black Line from the Flagpole Hub was finalized. This trail is certainly a testament to the love of the craft that our Master Trail Builder possesses.

This line (while short) is incredibly unique for NWA. Gap jumps, loamy corners, catch berms and some off camber lines will have you coming back for more. Everyone who we have brought out to test this trail has incredibly positive feedback to give. We can’t wait to see you on it with us! 

Flagpole Gravity Lines (Green and Blue):

 While our Flagpole Hub remains under construction, there are some exciting updates! After completion of the Black Line, we are shifting focus back to the Green Line. If you recall from last month, we focused on the Green Line coming into Veterans Day and we had a great “teaser” of what the rest of the trail will feel like for participants to test out. Again, we have gotten great feedback and we anticipate this trail to be highly utilized by our visitors in the future. 

What's Next: 

January will start out with a bang! As mentioned, Green and Blue Flow Lines are our first priority. From there we will shift focus over to the remainder of our perimeter loop. This additional 4 miles of trail will intersect with the existing Dome Loop Trail and provide nearly 6 miles of singletrack, perfect for everyone to ride.
