Our mission is to empower and support transitioning Military Veterans by offering a comprehensive range of services, including scholarships for vocational education and training (V.E.T.), connection with the great outdoors, and rebuilding a sense of community into their civilian lives. We are committed to facilitating a seamless transition into civilian life and building a vibrant community that attracts Veterans, making our region the premier destination fortheir post-service journey.

Meet the Team

Chairman of the Board & Interim Executive Director
Tom Dunn
Tom is a native Pennsylvnian accustomed to the fast-paced nature of the Northeast. He is no stranger to exceptional leadership. What started out on the rugby pitch at West Point soon manifested itself into military leadership in service to the country. Tom understands and embodies selfless service in putting others before himself. He is relentless at building teams that share a passion for helping veterans and having an impact on local communities. Tom received an MBA from Harvard Business School and was a double major at West Point.

National Director of Graduate Empowerment
Johnny Martin, M. Ed.
Johnny is a native of Massachusetts and is honored to serve our population as National Director of Graduate Performance. His advanced degrees are in psychology and counseling. Johnny is passionate about supporting VFF graduates through their mental performance, career, and continuing education journey.

National Director of Operations, Dirt Therapy Project
Jonathan Hagerman, MBA
Jonathan hails from Utah, where his love for mountain biking and the great outdoors was born. Jonathan served on active duty in the Marine Corps from 2009-2013 with a combat deployment to Afghanistan in 2010. Jonathan is the Founder of The Dirt Therapy Project, a Veterans Mountain Bike organization that is now a program of the Veterans Future Foundation.

Master Trail Builder
Robbie Wells
Robbie hails from the small town of Berryville, AR, and is a combat veteran with 12 years of dedicated service in the Army National Guard. A lifelong outdoor and extreme sports enthusiast, his passion eventually steered him toward trail building. As a highly skilled machine operator with extensive experience in trail construction, Robbie has played a pivotal role in expanding and enhancing the trail systems in Northwest Arkansas.

Graduate Empowerment Specialist
Meg Kelvington
Meg uses her Army leadership experience to train others to be more fit to serve through coaching; while being an Army Wife and mother to 4 children. After graduating from West Point and flight school, qualified in both the Blackhawk helicopter and RC-12 Guardrail airplane, she served in the Army for 8 years and did one deployment to Afghanistan. Meg has a Master’s degree in Human Services Counseling through Liberty University and is a certified personal trainer.

Ryan Galante
Ryan was born in Norfolk, VA and is a proud active-duty Marine with 20 years of service. His passion is helping those around him through coaching and mentorship. He’s also an entrepreneur in the apparel industry, inspiring others to strengthen their faith and fitness while becoming the best version of themselves.
